New Lash Subscription Box // Embelashes + Review

Hi Loves,

So recently I had the opportunity to work with Embelash, which is a high quality lash subscription box that provides you with the best handmade lashes possible, so when I got the chance to try these lashes I said a quick yes. Joining Embelashes gives you the chance to try a various amount of lashes based off your monthly subscription; ranging from 2 pairs for $15 to 6 lashes monthly for $35.

When I got my box, I was super excited about the subscription; I received 2 pair of selected lashes + a free eyelash glue all in which was $15. The choice lashes were super pretty, for anyone who’s into makeup, lash obsessed, or oddly just like receiving packages in the mail this is the subscription for you. This is an auto renewal monthly subscription, so every month you’ll get a random selection of handmade lashes and if you choose to cancel there is no penalty fee. I received 2 pairs of mink lashes ( reign + dreamy) the lashes “reign” are a more subtle look compared to the “dreamy” lashes which are more dramatic. I really like these sets of lashes, the band width is flexible and easy to adjust for application.

The Embelash glue adhesive comes with the order of lashes, the adhesive comes with a brush applicator, and though there are tons of lash glues w/ different brands, this glue comes on clear, and dries significantly fast. I really like this glue I can compare it with the duo lash glue; which works wonders. When applying lashes I put the glue on my lid first, my lashes are extremely long; and curled, so this just makes lashes so much easier, trying to apply lashes on with the glue still wet is a mess; so allow the glue to dry this allows the glue to get tacky ( in a good way) and makes applying lashes super fast + easy.

Overall I love this lash box and the selection of luxe lashes are amazing!

I hope you enjoyed this post! I want to thank Embelashes for gifting me my first box to try; also if you want to sign up — CLICK HERE — sign up to receive a free lash glue with your first month subscription.

Valentine’s Day Style Guide

Hi Loves,

Valentine’s Day! A day that shares in giving chocolates, teddy bears, and love for the significant other in your life, personally the only love I have love for other than the unconditional love for family, is netflix and personal chocolates brought by me, given to me, but in the midst of the national holiday I will share in the gift of style. Valentine’s Day is not the traditional holiday when it pertains to fashion, it has evolved into a variety of styles, so whether you are into the classic dress for date night or totally edgy, I have provided a few choices to help with your decision making process.

The traditional style for valentine’s day has always been varied into wearing pink or red, a dress, and a pair of heels, but modern day style guides, literally everywhere have provided other options that can keep the theme of Valentine’s but not make it so obvious. The styles that I decided to choose were to show a range of styles that play with color, pattern, and length. We heard of the infamous little black dress, or lbd for short, I have a dress that shifts the lbd, to a bit more playful, the polka dot knee-length dress I picked from Missguided shows that this style doesn’t have to be matronly but more chic + modern. The polka dot print plays at different mediums, and can easily dressed up with dainty jewelry to set the look off. All the dresses provided are under $50, so if you’re looking for something inexpensive, yet good quality this would be the looks. SHOP THESE LOOKS: Blush Polka Dot Ruffle Hem Wrap Tea Dress, $37 | Blush Satin Lace Midi Dress Kimono Duo Co Ord Set, $70 | Rust Satin Strappy Cross Back Midi Dress

Category is business woman realness, and the pantsuit is sickning. This year has been the year of pantsuits and I don’t know who your style star is but mine is Zendaya, her 70’s inspired fashion collection w/ Tommy Hilfiger has turned heads for the statement pantsuits and who says you can’t be business woman chic on a date. I love pantsuits not only can they be made to mix n match; but the suit is already ready to wear, RTW. The looks I’ve chosen are perfect for your night out. The chosen looks below, all range in texture, pattern, and color; and what do they have in common? There all under $60. Shop the Looks: Blue Co Ord Shimmer Boyfriend Blazer | Brown Plaid Co Ord Super Oversized Blazer | Brick Peg Suit Trousers | Pink Co Ord Double Breasted Oversized Masculine Blazer

Nothing says comfortable like the perfect pair of pants. Who says date night can’t be a simple pair of jeans and a bodysuit. I have picked a few choices, not just because I’m obsessed with pants but you can do so much with combinations, the perfect pants can set the tone for the outfit you’re trying to create, you want edge, sophistication, subtle; you name it I got the perfect pair. Shop these Looks: Black Faux Leather Cargo Pants | Raspberry Co Ord High Waisted Denim Mom Jeans | Red Croc Texture Vinyl Leggings | Tall Light Blue High Waisted Double Slash Knee Jeans | Tan Faux Leather Seam Detail Leggings

Trend Report || 90’s Nostalgia

Many trends come and go, but the effortless styles of the 90’s is endless. All hail the 90’s! When it comes to fashion trends the nostalgic 90’s has been modernized once again. The 90s were and will remain the most revolutionary era of all time, PERIOD all caps. From the brands such as Versace, Louis Vuitton, & Tommy Hilfiger, to the celebrities that we all reference, the 90’s decade just won’t seem to go away. Here are a few fashion trends that have made its way from street styles to your closet.

If you’ve asked yourself “what can I wear that is not too heavy, but not too hot” in the midst of scrambling for something to wear, windbreakers are the perfect solution to this question. Rihanna, Gigi Hadid, and more style stars have dawned this style. Windbreakers are great, they add the perfect amount of sporty flair to your ensemble. The revival of these colorful jackets, can dress up the most basic of outfits. SHOP THESE LOOKS UNDER $50

Remember the slip dress Carrie wore to go on her date w/ Mr. Big, that style moment gave spotlight to the slip dress. The 90’s slip dress is the most influential piece of representation of when runway was at it’s height of fashion. The biggest supermodels of all time have dawned this look Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, etc; and have made a complete lookbook in how to style this summer dress. Slip dresses have made it’s official debut as a summer look, but this specific dress is no one note wonder, you can pair this with skirts, jeans, or as is; either way you;re bound to turn heads, like Mrs. Bradshaw.

Animal print is anything, but subtle when it comes to fashion. Celebrities, designers, and trendsetters have taken to the streets with this bold print style and have created a look by look style guide to creating the perfect wardrobe. Leopard print, stripes, etc. are considerably the most neutral pattern to complete an outfit, being a print on all garments like dresses, tops, shoes, handbags have been made a classical pattern in fashion. No longer is animal print just considered for fall/winter season, it can be worn as a statement yearly.

Cargo pants are all the rave this season, but what about these pants are so addictive? Cargo pants have a history when it comes to fashion. In the era of the 90’s these specific pair of pants can most likely be seen with an oversized shirt, whether it was Kurt Cobain, NWA, Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Aaliyah, it was made a statement by a legendary figure. In the midst of seeing Influencers sport this contemporary look, I knew that these pants were making a comeback, when “7 Rings” debuted and Ariana Grande rocked an all pink pair for the video. Cargo pants are amongst the trends that are really cute, and stylish, why not bring these back.

I hope you enjoyed the nostalgic post, I have the links of the items within the post, so feel free to shop. Do you think 90’s nostalgia is overrated?

LOTD || Morphe 35M Boss Mood palette

HI Loves,

It feels like it’s been forever since I incorporated a makeup look on my blog, but today that changes! I’m in absolute awe of Morphe, they just give me everything I want in makeup, they consist of pigment, brushes, and best of all great prices; like what more can you ask for. Recently I was able to get their old but new 35m Boss Mood palette for $10 during Ulta’s 25 day Christmas countdown, now normally I don’t really partake in this event, but I was in need of some much needed makeup retail therapy. The Boss Mood palette consist of 35 shades from neon green to the blackest of black. I love their collection of shades; the shimmer shades are pigmented AF, and relatively smooth in texture, they glide on the lid so easily and pick up real nice. The other matte shades are really gorgeous, they have a variety of shades neon, army, berry, reds; the only color the palette need was a pink to be damn near perfect.

Anyhow I did create this purple/cranberry look using just about all the purple tones and a few hints of reds. I hope you enjoyed this very minimal post, I’ll be back with more Makeup MOndays!!
