La Perla J’aime la Nuit | First Impressions

Hi Lovelies,

If you’re a perfume Junkie *raise your hand with pride* We all have been there, we find ourselves walking past the perfume and a * Drop Dead Gorgeous* bottle is saying “buy me because I’m Pretty” my entire vanity is full of perfume bottles that just make it like a luxury corner, lol.

I recently got the chance to review the La Perla j”aime la nuit, which in french means ” I love the night” for a better translation. Okay, firstly is this bottle not living up to the beauty standard, this bottle is gorgeous , and smells lovely. I have been looking for this perfume for a while, and when I finally got a chance I didn’t grab, I snatched.  It retails for $60.

The La perla perfume has such gorgeous packaging, it comes in a little black box, with a little rainbow detailing around the name.

I really love the smell of the perfume It kind of smells like the Marc Jacobs Decadence and Dior fragrance had a baby, and this would be the product. The perfume has a musk, but it also smells very sweet in not a overwhelming way.

I really like this perfume overall, it really lives up to perfume expectations, I highly recommend it, for anyone to try.

All products, compliments of Notino, one of my go to for luxury perfumes and Beauty.

Milani Liquid Lipsticks | Metallic & Matte

Hi Lovelies,

Liquid lipsticks are a huge part of the makeup empire, and nothing is more exciting than a new launch of makeup…..okkkuurr!!! When Milani came out with their brand of metallic & matte lipsticks I headed to every store that carried it and brought what I could, cause I’m still on a budget, LOL!! I brought 2 metallic shades and 2 matte shades. I really love the formulas, They are heavily pigmented, and smells like vanilla. I do think that the product comes out a little thick, and it is very drying, it took a soccer team of products just to get it off my arm, but other than that, I still love both collections and I will 9/10 have the entire collection by the end of the month.

Well I hope you enjoyed my little review of the Milani liquid lipsticks, if you did “LIKE” this post and “COMMENT” your favorite shade. BTW this post is not sponsored, I brought this with my own money and all opinions are my own.

L’Oreal Paris Infallible Lip Paints

2017-02-08-14-36-001

HI Lovelies,

If you’re a beauty addict like me, then you know that liquid lipsticks have taken over in a BLINK! so when I heard about these new liquid paints from L’Oreal, I was so excited.

lrm_export_20170209_1923361

So L’Oreal came out with the new Infallible Paints collection, which contains a total of 14 different shades. Out of those 14 I only brought 3 of the shades, subtle I know, but I just wanted to test them out, before I went lip crazy!!

The three shades I purchased were Sultry Sangria, Violet Twist, & Bewitching Bordeaux, to stay in the deep grape/plum family.

Pigment

I think that these lip paints are above & beyond, and they are super pigmented. When I swatched these shades, badly if I may add, they  apply sort of light with just one swatch, but they they are buildable, so if you want a darker shade, it can be achieved. I think that they apply very nice on the lips though, Its really opaque, and has a beautiful gloss finish.

Overview

The applicator has a dip in the dough foot, which is great when applying in the corners, I think that the length of the applicator is great, It comes in handy when trying to apply and keep within the lip shape. I really like the lip paints, they can be compared to the Too Faced melted liquid lips, I mean they feel very much like a melted lipstick, the consistency is very nice. As a melted lipstick, it’s not tacky at all, I really like the formula, and the fact that its not sticky, or thick.

Diety America Hair care- Collection

PR samples courtesy of Diety America, all opinions are my own.

Hi Lovelies,

Hair Problems, something everyone goes through whether its heat damage, to thin, or just flat I haven’t came across a girl whos’ hair was just perfect, unless you’re Sofia Vergara.

It wasn’t until 3 months ago that I heard of Diety America, if you don’t know who they are here’s a little insight. Diety America is a hair brand that helps with healthy; natural regrowth. All of the products are based from Tibet, and Chinese herbal extracts, also carrying ginseng, wheat, protein, and Avocado. This brand couldn’t have contacted me at a better time, especially since my hair was in the process of breaking off. Through contacts they wanted me to review for them, and it didn’t take long to say yes.

What they sent were 2 leave in conditioners, Plant shampoo, a heat protectant, as well as, a serum dropper and a scalp treatment.

I tried this entire collection in the course of 3 months, in moderation of course. Now that I’m done rambling, let’s talk about the products.

lrm_export_20170119_1304311

The Super Gro Serum Nutmeg + Serum Gro scalp Treatment

I use these every night just to keep my scalp from being dry, because my hair soaks up moisture. The super grow w/nutmeg is very lightweight on my hair, it has a mentholated feeling when I apply it to my hair. Its made with Asian herbal extract, Chinese ginseng extract, Nutmeg Oil, Argan Oil, and Knotweed, all are ingredients made to grow healthy hair from the root, as well as, protect hair from breakage. With the nutmeg you definitely can smell it in the ingredients and feel a burning sensation as well. The Serum gro scalp treatment is similar to the super gro but without any nutmeg, or menthol. I prefer the super gro with the nutmeg, but both works just the same.

Leave in Hydrating & Repair Scalp Treatment / Deep Penetrating Conditioner

The Hydrating leave in conditioner and the Deep Conditioner were my favorite products to use weekly. The hydrating leave in conditioner is made up of Water, Soy Protein, Ginseng, Shea Butter, Asian & Tibetan herbs, and Knotweed. The hydrating conditioner I liked because it could be used as a styling product or just to condition and wash out. It really is a hydrating conditioner, it is kind of, heavy so you don’t need much. As most conditioners its meant to repair the hair and keep breakage from happening. I used this twice a week and by the end of the week wash it out, because the build up can cause your hair to feel sticky. The Deep Condition , is made of Tibetan Herbs, Aloe Vera, Ginseng, and Avocado, all ingredients that promotes healthy hair growth, and stops breakage. The deep condition acted like a hair mask, when you apply all over the hair it hardens and you leave it on for about 15 min, then wash it out. I think both of these combinations helped my hair the most, because I did use these as my holy grail products. If you’re trying to grow your hair, these are my recommended products, because these duos have a combination of hair growth ingredients, and you can use it weekly if not daily.

The Plant Shampoo

I really like using the plant shampoo, made of the same as the leave in hydrating leave in conditioner, the plant shampoo is an all organics shampoo that helps repair hair. I used the shampoo and the consistency is very thick, it smells like grass, yeah that’s how natural it is. It really did help my hair to stop breakage. I used this every 2 weeks and within the first months usage, I could see a difference. I really do like the way it lathers my hair and that its not filled with alcohol and parabens, which are both harmful to your hair.

Repairing Essence Daily Moisturizer lotion

I normally do not like lotions in my hair mainly because, lotions tends to make my hair sticky and stiff, The daily moisturizer changed my entire opinion about certain lotions. This daily moisturizer contains Amino Acids, Vitamin C5, Ironic Protein, and Collagen. This is a daily lotion, which you can use daily, but I only used it when I used the deep conditioner, to keep my hair hydrated and shiny. This lotion works really well, its not like any lotion I ever tried, its light weight, the consistency in my hair is nice, it doesn’t weigh my hair down at all.

As for the entire Diety America collection, I really liked the natural quality of the products, I have used tons of “natural” products but these products takes the cake. I think that as far as the ingredients, being free of sulfates, and parabens are always great. the shampoos’ and conditioners works well together. I highly recommend this brand to people who liiivvvee for organic and Au’ natural products.

I have been a huge fan of the distressed look for a while now, and I know what you’re thinking ( Really Jeans in the Summer)? But the more ventilation, the more comfortable the look. I live in Virginia, so you can imagine the weather. I am a fan of distressed jeans, but I go for a certain type of look. I don’t really like my jeans to look to messy, but I do like all the patch work, and the rips.

Would I do another distressed look, probably not!! My point, I really can’t wait for fall weather.
