$$$ Skin Moisturizer? Rico Beauty Essentials

Hello Lovelies,

I’m sure we can all agree that when it comes to skincare, we are willing to go above and beyond to get that perfect, glowing; Instagram-able skin. I recently got to try a skin moisturizer for Rico Beauty Essentials, and I have to admit I was super intrigued by the skin benefits it had to offer. No doubt I have tried plenty of moisturizers ranging from luxury to drugstore, and I can say while some did work for me, there were more that didn’t. Rico beauty essentials is not your typical overly hyped product, but the big question, does it work?

Rico beauty essentials can be found Amazon, which made me a little apprehensive to try, so I had to do some research before testing the product, but if it’s one thing I learned the best products are of Indie brands. Before we get into the review, here’s a little info on the product. The Rico beauty essentials retinol moisturizer, is designed to stimulate production of new skin cells, it helps fade dark marks caused by hyperpigmentation. This retinol moisturizer contains Hyaluronic acid, organic Aloe Vera, Green tea, Vitamin E, and Jojoba oil. As for the price, it’s under $20, so this is definitely a deal $$$.

RETINOL MOISTURIZER

After my routine facial cleansing, I use this moisturizer day and night for about a month, and I can say the effect of the green tea is a plus. While the moisturizer has a list of organic ingredients, the green tea and hyaluronic acid, is felt the most. I say these to particular ingredients, because through this entire process, my skin feels plumper, and the hyperpigmentation of my scars is fading. This cream is light texture and absorbs into the skin, rather than sit on the dermis. Immediately you feel the botanicals working within the skin cells, when applied to the skin, and no there is no greasiness when applying the cream. The cream comes in a 1.7 fl.oz container, so you get a good amount of product, a little goes a long way. My skin after a month of using this feels brighter, my scars have faded and also just an overall healthier feeling.

This moisturizer is completely worth the $$. The difference in my skin has completely benefited from this cream, and I see a total difference in texture. Is it worth the money? I would say $20 can seem like a lot to some people, I will say this, it does work, so If you were to buy It you’ll be getting your money’s worth.

Thanks for reading my review, tell me if you are a skincare junkie in the comments, would you be interested in using this moisturizer? Be sure to Like & Comment your fave skincare brand.

Belize in you | Skincare

black-and-white

Hi Lovelies,

Winter is here and the topic of skin is a popular subject. I myself love a good skincare regimen, but with newer more prominent products coming out, my routine is constantly changing. When it comes to my skin its normally cleanse, tone, serum, and moisturize, so when I heard about Belize in you skincare I couldn’t wait to add them into my routine.

Belize in you Marine and Body Care is a health/beauty company that uses all natural and raw materials for the Caribbean waters and Mayan mountains of Belize.

When I got contacted through pr agents to try a few items, I was excited yet hesitant, I literally had an entire conversation with myself, before replying back. When you get used to the products that you use daily, it kind of a switch up when you have to change it, but anyways I chose a toner and serum, just to see what their products can offer to my skin.

I got the Marine mineral skin toner and the Rooibos tea antioxidant facial serum. Lets talk about the marine toner, the toner looks very much high end skin care, as a matter of fact the cost is pretty much high end, it retails for $55. The product also is 4 fl oz, so your getting a ton of product for what your’e paying. After doing a morning and night routine, I can see a bit of a difference, I’ve used this for about a month, and my skin feels very refreshed and hydrated, some toners have that drying effect on the skin and with the winter here, dry weather and dry skin are both negative factors. The Marine mineral skin toner has ingredients of water, seaweed extract, Phenoxyethanol, which I’m sure is a long word for natural..I guess, this toner is half gone I really enjoy using it, its lightweight, the only thing that that I can say negative is that the pump shoots out to much product, which is really wasteful, a little product goes a long ways.

The next product I tried was the Rooibos Tea antioxidant facial serum, I was really excited to try this serum, this retails for $88, this serum is made of water (aqua), Red tea, phenoxyethanol, and Hyaluronic Acid. I really love this serum, its an antioxidant which is great to help pull toxins from the skin after cleansing your face, its really light, and liquid-y, you only need about 2 pumps, because its easy to disperse over your entire face. The Rooibos tea serum, is very nice, its wet on the face, but once it dries it gives the feeling  a tight mask. The serum is more easy to use than the toner, you can control how much you want to use, which is really nice.

I feel after using both in my skin  routine, has been a great addition, my skin feels very hydrated, and firm. I usually have a problem with scaring,  but they do seem a tad lighter, which is a bonus, but most of all it doesn’t dry out the skin.

🐝 Better Have My 🍯

2016-08-29-17-49-36[1]

Hi Lovelies,

So recently I got the chance to try the new Honey Potion Hydration Mask by Faramacy. I was super excited to try the honey mask, because I have tried plenty *emphasis on the PLENTY* of honey products, and they never seem to live up to my expectations. This honey potion is the first of many products in Farmacy Beauty’s new Honey line.

So Lets Talk!

Farmacy Honey Potion Antioxidant Hydration Mask, comes packaged in a box inside another box, inside another box, and when it comes to packaging I get really impatient. The box that it came in was very beautiful, the box was decorated with a honeycomb design, which is in correlation with the product, so that was really cute. Inside was the info surrounding the product, like who it was made by, the products used, etc. Overall the complete packaging was really beautiful, I felt like when I first opened the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland palette, it really made an impact, and I was sold.

The Farmacy Beauty Mask, was priced at $56, and came in over a 4 oz jar, so your getting your moneys worth. As for the product itself, everything consist of all natural ingredients. Protection by Echinacea Purpurea, GreenEnvy contains a concentrated amount of Phytochemical Cichoric Acid which helps to firm the skinand inhibits collagen breakdown. The Cichoric Acid is great for skin pigmentation and evenly toning skin complexion. The mask is filled with propolis, which is an ingredient found in beehives, and amino enriched jelly, to give you that younger anti aging skin renewal.

Using this mask I could see results automatically, I use twice a day and the consistency is very nice. The mask is very smooth when applying, and even though honey is enriched in this product, its not really that sticky, which is a good thing. It gives you that elasticity in your skin, and also makes your skin very healthy, and moisturized without drying your skin of its natural oils.

I have to say this product maybe the highlight of the summer. The Farmacy Beauty Honey Potion, actually does work like magic. It doesn’t contain any alcohol in the product everything is natural, and it actually works, within days.
