VSX Lipglosses + Velvet Mattes

2017-05-09-14-51-38

Hi Lovelies,

It’s has been nearly a month since I’ve done any kind of post, but in defense I have been working on purchasing a camera, to give you better photos, and cross over to that professional lifestyle. I have a ton of PR, and I have been buying a ton of products that I want to share, I will try and post everything on time….I’ll Try… But enough stalling, Let’s get into this blog.

I have tried a ton of liquid lipsticks whether they’re Matte finishes, or glosses and normally I end up highly intrigued and buy everything, not like a normal person, so when I saw the lip products in Victoria Secret, literally flipped out. We all know Victoria Secret for being the “Sexy lingerie store” and Adriana Lima SWOON! But now they have descent makeup.

Let’s start by talking about these lip glosses, I didn’t get a chance to swatch these in the store I brought these simply based off outside appearance. The packaging is beautiful and screams Spring, and not only that they really read as luxury products. When I swatched these shades they were a little disappointing, they were really transparent and light, but the color shine shades were more pigmented than the rest. I did like the feel of it on my lips, they weren’t tacky when applying it, though it takes about 40 applications to get the color on the outside it still is pretty and good if you don’t want dry lips.

The Velvet matte shades are very pigmented, they show up clear as day. I like that they are not overly drying and still has sort of, a shine underneath. I really should have gotten more of these shades, because they are super pretty, they apply nicely, they don’t tug or pull on the lips. The only thing about the velvet matte shades is that when you dip the wand in from application, they have a clump of product at the tip, but that’s the only nit- picky thing I have with these.

( From Top to Bottom)

Lip Color Gloss:

Escape ( light lilac w/ Pink undertone)

Paradise ( Hot Pink)

Peek a Boo ( Fair Nude)

Charmed ( Nude w/ Red undertone)

Velvet Matte:

Impulsive ( Red Shade w/ Pink undertone)

Scandalous ( Purple w/ Pink undertone)

Lastly is the Lip plumpers, I brought 2 of the same kind, uhhhhh!!!! Too Faced cosmetics has a lip plumper and I wanted to see how this compares to the Too faced lip plumper which was $22 BTW, the Victoria Secret lip plumper was half that price. I really like this lip plumper it doesn’t give you a plumped pout, but it does add a ton of gloss and shine, it’s infused with vitamin E, which is good for moisture. I’m glad I purchased 2 because traveling and being on the go causes dry lips, and this will help a ton.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul/ swatch post, I will definitely be posting more. If you enjoyed this post be sure to “LIKE” this post and tell me if you like the Victoria Secret makeup? Have you tried it? What’s your favorite shade in this post, if any? Let me know in the comments?

Too Faced Liquified Mattes

Hi Lovelies,

I’ve always been late when it comes to getting the latest in beauty, because when you buy one thing there’s a billion that comes out the next day, UUUHHH!!  I have been a fan of Too Faced liquid lipsticks, they retail for $21 which is a pretty penny, but you are not just paying for the brand, this liquid lipsticks is mattified to Death. One thing I love is the packaging, it comes in a glass packaging, which is so beautiful, but also is easily breakable. I’m a fan of matte liquid lips and this matte formula is super pigmented, and rich in color, I have a hard time when I wear liquid lipsticks and they are super drying, or streaky in color, but this formula takes a trip to Africa and back to come off. I brought drop dead red and Bend & Snap, which were total opposites when it comes to the color spectrum. Drop Dead Red, is a very deep cranberry Red, super sexy and Fall season, I know Spring time is upon us, but a classic red is for all season, OKKUURRR! Bend & Snap is a very hot Pink, super pigmented and pretty, definitely a pigmented pink.  I recommend this brand of liquid lips, trust me…. disappointing, NOTTT!!

I hope you enjoyed the little overview, I will definitely have more post coming, my OOTD’s are coming back and more Beauty post are on the way, getting myself ready for Summer classes has been a process, but I’m back in the game. Tell me if you like Too Faced? If so “LIKE” this post, and “COMMENT” whats your favorite shade in the collection.

Studio Gear True Lipstick Collection

2016-01-18-13-32-20.jpg

PR Samples- all opinions are my own

I am a true devulger when iy comes to Lipstick. I go from matte to creamy, Red to Nude, and it just feels like I never have enough. Studio Gear Cosmetics sent me there True Lipstick Collection to review,  and this was no dissapointment. Being that this is my first established Collaboration with a great Beauty Brand, the excitement just killed me when I seen there website. The True Lipstick line is a all matte line, and leaves a velvet finish, my smile stretched from ear to ear, because I can never find the perfect matte its either to dry, or not pigmented the way it appears. These shades are above amazing, I will hold these with my life.

Studio Gears’ True Matte Lipstick Collection is phenomenal. The lipstick line devuted in the summer, and the anticipation of getting the collection was well worth it. I love the collection, the lipsticks are so smooth, pigmented, and wearable throughout the year. Each color has its own personality, and I literally feel like I’m in another scenario with each color. There are so many looks I can do with each color. This line is literally unbelievable.

The True Lipstick collection is so amazing. They are a velvet Matte, which is up to par with the name. I love that the colors are very pigmented, but because its so matte, but you do have to reapply throughout the day, which is fine. When applying the application is pretty rough against my lips, but the aftermath results in an amazing look, so the finish is worth it. The look of the packaging is amazing by itself, the tube is a velvet black, which is very sexy and good to feel (wierd). I wore the true red all day while shopping, and to me if I’m running around and shopping, if a lipstick is able to keep up thats a plus for me.

Okay by admitting this, we are friends for life, I dont know if I’m the only one to smell makeup, but I can kind of distinguish my lipsticks & brands by the smell. These Studio Gear Lipsticks smell like Fashion Fair lipsticks, which is the brand my mom use to get, but I do like the scent, it takes me back like maybe 10 years ago ( 10 years old, basically).

The Collection is super amazing, I love the colors, application, Smell. This collection was one of the most fun reviews I got to do. I hope you enjoy this review, because if you do heres another gift, for my wonderful makeup lovers.

These lipsticks cost $18 each, which is pricey, by entering the code (use this code)-> passionforprada you’ll be able to get 10% off your entire purchase!

Have you guys heard of Studio Gear? What about the True Lipstick Collection? If so, whats your favorite color? Be sure to tell me in the comments.

XOXO
