The Ultimate Argan Oil Deluxe Exfoliating Soap ( IK mouthful) is meant to Tone, Exfoliate, and Brighten, ridding the skin of dead skin cells and giving the skin a natural glowing complexion. This was my favorite to test out, as soon as I got it in the mail I used it that night. This exfoliating soap is made of small exfoliating beads which you can feel soon as it hits the skin. Their are tons of exfoliating soaps that can be pretty abrasive on the skin, but this soap, in particular, is not abrasive, it almost feels like regular soap. I love using this soap on my face and body, it feels like it’s doing the work of 3 different body scrubs. After using this my skin feels smooth, and super clean, no need for the gang of cleansers, using the soap and a light moisturizer gets the job done. Since I’ve been using this soap my skin is incredibly smooth and I can definitely feel a difference in texture, as for the brightening of dark spots and skin, I don’t think I’ve used it long enough to see any improvement in that area, but that doesn’t change my opinion about the product, overall great product. It retails for $6

I got to try 2 different sheet mask, one the Ultimate Argan Oil Brightening Mask + The Hydrating Mask.

I love a good sheet mask, I mean you can just leave it on  your face and let it do it’s work, while you’re updating your Instagram page, or something of that nature. Both mask are infused with Argan Oil, and are free of alcohol, which is amazing. Lets start with the brightening mask, this mask is meant to restore balance in skin cells to naturally brighten the skin, as well as, hydrating the skin. I love any mask that will clear, and restore the healthy glow of my skin without stripping my face of everything that keeps it hydrated. Each mask box comes with 4 individual sheet mask, which is just enough. So far, I have used 2 of the 4 mask and really enjoy it. The product that the sheet mask comes in is what I’m drawn to, the mask is nice, but after it dries, it has left over product that you can rub into the skin, and it dries down, but not super drying. The brightening mask has to be my favorite, I can definitely see results with the uses, I really enjoyed it. The Hydrating Mask is meant to hydrate, and restore radiance in the skin, I’ve only tried the mask once, but in that one use my skin did feel hydrated and not drying at all. I will have to use this more, but the one time was great. Each mask set retails $45 which is pricey, but for 4 mask I feel like your getting your money’s worth.

Lastly is the Argan Oil treatment serum,

I love serums, I have a ton of facial + body oils that get the job done. This serum is infused with Argan Oil, and high concentrations of fatty acids, and vitamin E. Now when I looked on the website it says its a hair oil, but I have been using this for my body and it seems to be working better than half my moisturizing collection. I love this serum, it’s super lightweight, and the smell is not overpowering. I’m half full with product, because I’ve been using it religiously since i’ve gotten it. I do love the way it works on my skin, and I can use it in my hair, so that’s just an added bonus. This serum retails for $16.

Hi Lovelies,

I’m back with another beauty haul, today I am going to be reviewing 2 palettes of the Balm cosmetics, Guys! I don’t know how much I rave about this brand, probably a lot, but I was excited to try theBalmJovi palette and the Smoke palette. So, lets get into this review, SHALL WE.

lrm_export_20170211_2115361

 lrm_export_20170211_2140251

I am a huge “palette girl” I love a great drugstore brand palette, I mean I’m all for luxury brands, but I don’t like being completely broke. The Balm, if I haven’t said it before, this brand has great quality products for great prices.

Okay now for the palette, the Balm Jovi palette is a full face palette that comes with 12 eye shadows , highlighter, blush, and 2 lip shades. I never used a full face palette, I buy products individually, but I feel that this palette has its advantages, I mean you’re paying for a palette that comes literally with everything, and you’re saving a ton of money. This palette retails for $20, which is a great price for the entire palette.

This palette is so amazing the eye shadows have 4 metallic shades, 4 matte, and 4 shimmer shades. All the eye shadow shades are super pigmented, they are very creamy and I love how the shades vary they have light shades, transition shades, and dark shades also they have a few warm tone colors which I live for.

lrm_export_20170212_1133191

I swatched all the shades and I did have to prime my arm, I never had to do that BTW, but the shadows shows up as they do in the palette. Each swatch is 2 layers so they show up better. Okay, so the shades itself are super pigmented, they all show up nicely, they are not at all chalky, they apply very smooth, and even swatch super creamy. I like that that the palette had 3 different shade finishes ( metallic, matte, and shimmer).

The consistency of this palette is very nice I think the shades are lovely so the swatches are above. (left to right)

The first 4 are all metallic shades_

  • Metallica  ( white Metallic)
  • Iron Maiden ( Golden)
  • Led Zepplin ( Olive Green Metallic)
  • Alice Cooper (Brown w/Mauve undertone Metallic)

I really love these pigmented metallic shades, they are rich in color, and apply so creamy, I also like that they are grouped as heavy metal rock bands, all of whom I’ve listened to a billion times, these shades apply really nice with/out primer, there is a ton of fall out, but what eyeshadow doesn’t.

The MID – 4 Matte

  • Adagio ( very light brown w/white undertone)
  • Allegro (Taupe Brown)
  • Moderato ( Deep matte Purple)
  • Presto (Deep Brown)

So these 4 are all matte shades based on classical music, which is really great. I love the shades, they are very wearable warm tone shades. I like the deep purple that is in the mix. I think the shades are really pretty, the only thing is that these are best with a primer, otherwise they show up super light, barely visible with exception of the deep purple. Overall the classical shades are really nice, and  nice range of shades for the palette.

The last 4 – Shimmer shades

  • Blink 182 ( Nude Brown w/ pink undertone )
  • The Stroke ( Navy Blue)
  • Rem ( Lilac Purple)
  • Third Eye Blinded ( A fair Pink shimmer)

The last 4 are all shimmer shades, these shades are grouped based off popular rock bands. These shades have to be my favorite, they are super pigmented, and out of all the shades these 4 didn’t have as much fall out as the rest. These shades look really pretty with/without primer. The shimmer shades do have a ton of glitter, but I really like the shimmer on my eyes.

Overall the eye shades look really nice, the application of these shades all have a nice creamy consistency, I have to say the metallic shades have to be my favorite, they show up better on my eyes and the color range is wearable day or night.

Next is the Smoke Balm palette, this palette is a great palette for any day, they only contain 3 shades a shimmer black, a warm neutral shade, and a highlight shade. I really like the shades in this palette, the shades are not crazy shades, they are warm tone colors, which I appreciate.

The shades are:

  • Blaze ( shimmer Black)
  • Spark ( Matte taupe brown)
  • Flame ( highlight)

I really like this palette, Blaze and spark are my favorite, they are super pigmented and have a very rich consistency. The shades start off light, so they are buildable, the highlight shade is a little to light for my skin tone, it almost look chalky, but swatch wise its very beautiful, it looks like Ice, its kind of comparable to the champagne pop glow palette.

Here are the swatches of the smoke balm palette.

Well that’s all for my review on the balm jovi and smoke balm palette. Be sure to “LIKE” this post, and tell me if you tried either palette? Do you like THE BALM COSMETICS? If so, whats your favorite product of the brand? Tell me in the comments below.

Belize in you | Skincare

black-and-white

Hi Lovelies,

Winter is here and the topic of skin is a popular subject. I myself love a good skincare regimen, but with newer more prominent products coming out, my routine is constantly changing. When it comes to my skin its normally cleanse, tone, serum, and moisturize, so when I heard about Belize in you skincare I couldn’t wait to add them into my routine.

b+w 2.png

Belize in you Marine and Body Care is a health/beauty company that uses all natural and raw materials for the Caribbean waters and Mayan mountains of Belize.

When I got contacted through pr agents to try a few items, I was excited yet hesitant, I literally had an entire conversation with myself, before replying back. When you get used to the products that you use daily, it kind of a switch up when you have to change it, but anyways I chose a toner and serum, just to see what their products can offer to my skin.

 black and white 3.png

I got the Marine mineral skin toner and the Rooibos tea antioxidant facial serum. Lets talk about the marine toner, the toner looks very much high end skin care, as a matter of fact the cost is pretty much high end, it retails for $55. The product also is 4 fl oz, so your getting a ton of product for what your’e paying. After doing a morning and night routine, I can see a bit of a difference, I’ve used this for about a month, and my skin feels very refreshed and hydrated, some toners have that drying effect on the skin and with the winter here, dry weather and dry skin are both negative factors. The Marine mineral skin toner has ingredients of water, seaweed extract, Phenoxyethanol, which I’m sure is a long word for natural..I guess, this toner is half gone I really enjoy using it, its lightweight, the only thing that that I can say negative is that the pump shoots out to much product, which is really wasteful, a little product goes a long ways.

bandw4.png

The next product I tried was the Rooibos Tea antioxidant facial serum, I was really excited to try this serum, this retails for $88, this serum is made of water (aqua), Red tea, phenoxyethanol, and Hyaluronic Acid. I really love this serum, its an antioxidant which is great to help pull toxins from the skin after cleansing your face, its really light, and liquid-y, you only need about 2 pumps, because its easy to disperse over your entire face. The Rooibos tea serum, is very nice, its wet on the face, but once it dries it gives the feeling  a tight mask. The serum is more easy to use than the toner, you can control how much you want to use, which is really nice.

I feel after using both in my skin  routine, has been a great addition, my skin feels very hydrated, and firm. I usually have a problem with scaring,  but they do seem a tad lighter, which is a bonus, but most of all it doesn’t dry out the skin.

I hope you enjoyed my review/post on Belize in  you skin care. What’s your favorite toner? Have you heard of Belize in you skincare? Would you be willing to give it a try? Let me know in the comments below.

Rimmel London | Christmas feels….

2016-12-19-13-50-45

PR samples provided by the beauty site, Notino, all opinions are my own.

rimmel-3

Hi Lovelies.

So, christmastime is here, and I love the fact of sitting and watching ELF all day long, but when it’s time to go to an event you have to look your holiday best.

Today I am reviewing a few lipsticks of Rimmel Londons’ long lasting collection, Kate’s collection, and the matte finishes. It seems that I kept the theme of the holidays, all the shades are in the Red shades family.

rimmel6

Rimmel London Long lasting lipsticks (links to my favorites)

  • 086 Sugar Plum
  • 170 Alarm

Rimmel Londons Long lasting Matte Finish

  • Color 110
  • Color 106

Rimmel Long Lasting Kate Collection

  • Color 01

swatch-2

In a beauty world taken over by liquid lipsticks, its always good to revert back to a nice; moisture lipstick. I love the Rimmel london lipsticks, they are all very pigmented, and they swatch nicely. All the shades have a touch of shimmer to them, even the matte ones. I love that the formula of the lipsticks are not heavy, they apply smoothly to the lips, and even with one swatch the shades shows up great; kind of like the Maybelline Whisper collection, they are great, trust me I don’t talk about anything I don’t like.

I do think that the quality of these lipsticks are great, for a on the go type of person, I enjoy the use of a good lipstick, but these are great.

I hope you enjoyed my Rimmel review, BE sure to Like this post and Comment below which shades do you find appealing for the Holidays. xx

Lazy Day Makeup

Hi Lovelies,

I am out of my college classes for the summer, and I can now appreciate a good lazy day. On a normal day I’m rushing to look half descent, but on a lazy day the makeup doesn’t come on until I have had at least 1 good cup of coffee. So, normally I don’t start doing my makeup til maybe 12 pm, which is the time I actually wakeup (not physically, but mentally).

On typical lazy days, I like to keep my makeup to a minimum.

2016-05-24-14-02-13

So IDK, if I’m the only one who likes music and the Tv on, even if I’m not looking at it ( I normally have a playlist of get ready music). Anyways, I used the Maybelline Nudes Palette for my look, and never really seen just how beautiful this palette really is. Looking at it has matte shades, and very shimmery shades, varying in the nudes. This palette ( if used right) contains shades that can be used for contouring/highlights. I decided to use a simple smoky eye/w. Winged eyeliner+highlight and nude lip.

2016-05-24-17-43-55

2016-05-24-14-25-24

I swatched the shades that I used for my eyes, in the corners of my eye I used the first swatch (top) which is a very pigmented; light shade with a shimmer undertone. For the mid shades I blended the 2 middle shades (middle) which are the ones badly swatched in the middle. For the crease I used a Gold shimmer shade (3rd from the bottom) and the Brown tone (bottom).

2016-05-24-11-33-52

When it comes to highlighting, I don’t usually use it, but I have been watching alot of Jeffree Star, so my bae got me convinced. I highlighted my cheeks, cupids bow & Nose.
