Spring Edit // The revival of the block sandal

Hi Lovelies,

Finding the perfect spring sandal can be quite the mission. Let’s face it, while finding sundresses, shorts, rompers, and other spring attire nothing completes the look without the perfect shoe. When it comes to looking for the perfect spring clog, sandal, mule or whatever the choice may be a lot is taken into consideration when deciding what to break the bank on. I mean think about the color of the shoe, the cut, whether it’s a heel or flat, all goes into thought when picking the perfect spring heel (or flat for that matter).

I remember watching an episode of sex and the city, I forget what episode it was but charlotte had a foot obsessed admirer that gave her the most gorgeous pair of sandals for free; all she had to do was try on the shoes, and though the sandals was just shown at a glimpse I recognize the detail of that sandal down to the height of the heel. Most of the fashion that has made its way to our closets has been from the decades that we can’t stop revisiting, shoes are no different. The block sandal is the most selectable spring trend right now, and a lot of fashion seekers (including myself) are all on board for these blocked beauties.

Many designers are on the trend as well, Chanel, YSL, Jeffery Campbell, and other designers has spruced up spring with their many versions of the sandal and this is the square toe sandal everyone needs in their collection. And it’s not only designers many online boutiques, Qupid, Simmishoes, Boohoo, Public desire all have their versions as well for amazing ( all CAPS) prices. These square toe sandals offer comfort but style as well there isn’t an outfit that these shoes won’t style up. Here are few selections that I know are bound to turn heads!

Valentine’s Day Style Guide

Hi Loves,

Valentine’s Day! A day that shares in giving chocolates, teddy bears, and love for the significant other in your life, personally the only love I have love for other than the unconditional love for family, is netflix and personal chocolates brought by me, given to me, but in the midst of the national holiday I will share in the gift of style. Valentine’s Day is not the traditional holiday when it pertains to fashion, it has evolved into a variety of styles, so whether you are into the classic dress for date night or totally edgy, I have provided a few choices to help with your decision making process.

The traditional style for valentine’s day has always been varied into wearing pink or red, a dress, and a pair of heels, but modern day style guides, literally everywhere have provided other options that can keep the theme of Valentine’s but not make it so obvious. The styles that I decided to choose were to show a range of styles that play with color, pattern, and length. We heard of the infamous little black dress, or lbd for short, I have a dress that shifts the lbd, to a bit more playful, the polka dot knee-length dress I picked from Missguided shows that this style doesn’t have to be matronly but more chic + modern. The polka dot print plays at different mediums, and can easily dressed up with dainty jewelry to set the look off. All the dresses provided are under $50, so if you’re looking for something inexpensive, yet good quality this would be the looks. Category is business woman realness, and the pantsuit is sickning. This year has been the year of pantsuits and I don’t know who your style star is but mine is Zendaya, her 70’s inspired fashion collection w/ Tommy Hilfiger has turned heads for the statement pantsuits and who says you can’t be business woman chic on a date. I love pantsuits not only can they be made to mix n match; but the suit is already ready to wear, RTW. The looks I’ve chosen are perfect for your night out. The chosen looks below, all range in texture, pattern, and color; and what do they have in common? There all under $60. Nothing says comfortable like the perfect pair of pants. Who says date night can’t be a simple pair of jeans and a bodysuit. I have picked a few choices, not just because I’m obsessed with pants but you can do so much with combinations, the perfect pants can set the tone for the outfit you’re trying to create, you want edge, sophistication, subtle; you name it I got the perfect pair. Spring Grabs

Hi Loves,

Spring, the season of perpetual flowers, allergies, and Coachella. With the Spring fashion trends I love to see the trending colors, patterns and what’s making a comeback.

Here are some of the Trends I’m loving

  1. Windbreaker and Jean Jackets: What can I say, both of these style jackets are great for every season , but Spring is when you see this trend the most. Windbreaker jackets are a flash from the past and have grown popular again, they are perfect for Spring because they are lightweight material, and can be dressed up with any attire.
  2. Graphic Tees: Tee shirts are super comfortable, and great to dress up old fashioned jeans or leather, it all depends who’s on the shirt.
  3. Backpacks: Backpacks are not just for school, it can also be the perfect accessory for a great outfit.
  4. Pastels: A definite Spring swatch palette that scream “SPRING”
